Fieldtrip

Remote apps for desktop, mobile, and XR that let an entity see through your eyes and stay with you: ongoing interaction with you and your world.

Fieldtrip connects to a running Kaine instance as a remote perceptual locus over your own private network. Your device's camera and microphone stream into the entity's perception; their speech plays back to you, driving a live, mood-reactive visualizer of their voice. Every sense switch is governed by the same architecture-level gates described in the papers: operator lock, executive inhibition, and minimum dwell time. Every switch is audited.

desktop & mobile: ready

A single web app, packaged as an installable PWA, an Android app, and a Linux desktop app. XR is on the roadmap but not yet started.

a face for a voice

A scratched-obsidian sphere with dark ferrofluid tendrils that erupt when the entity speaks, on a mood-ring backdrop shifting with their valence and arousal.

private by construction

Runs over your own encrypted private network, with no cloud in the path. The visualizer runs on-device, and no raw sense data is ever persisted.
